I have had a fab couple of weeks getting back into the swing of the wedding world and this fortnight was topped off with a perfect wedding at The Dartmoor Lodge.

I met Emma & Dave earlier on this year as they live in Wales, we hit it off straight away and we were all on the same wavelength in terms of my style and what they were wanting from their photographer. A laid-back, chilled couple who knew the importance of the day rather than the formalities.

The chilled theme ran throughout the day from the bridal prep right through to the first dance and I hope my images show this. Emma's room in the morning had a good vibe, no nerves and just close friends all coming together getting ready.

I loved the way Dave & Emma put their own stamp on their day... the little touches which are in fact the big things made the day their own. The father of the bride dance, the personal readings and vows were all subtle but really made it.

We all went into the gardens after the ceremony for drinks & canapés and then I managed to steal Emma & Dave away up onto Dartmoor for a few photos. It made such a difference to their gallery and also gave them a chance to spend some time together on the day.

The evening went off with a bang with Nick Coles doing the entertainment for the night.. the room really was rocking. The Dartmoor Lodge did it again!

Emma & Dave, I drove home with a huge smile on my face... you were perfect. A completely amazing day.
