Woolhanger Manor

James & Hazel.

My 2nd wedding of the weekend saw me photographing James & Hazel as they got wed in North Devon... and what a wedding it was!

I first met James on a football pitch...I think I scored a fair few against him and for some reason this made him want to book me for his wedding. He introduced me to Hazel and we all just clicked.. I got what they wanted, the style and feel they were after and I was delighted they wanted me to be a part of it. Their day sounded wonderful and it really was.

Woolhanger is a magnificent venue near Lynton, right out in the sticks I was amazed at how grand the place was. Set on a farming estate, the music room for the ceremony was actually as I would say it... 'something else'.

I headed up early to capture the girls & the Bridesman getting all ready together, the morning was fun, laid back and an open house into Hazels accommodation. It was lovely to see many of her friends and family wandering in to wish her luck.

I hope you can all see from my images how big and stunning the ceremony room is, it added to the romantic atmosphere and I don't think any of the guests will ever be present at a ceremony like that again.

The weather was perfect so all the guests headed out into the grounds to enjoy a drink and also to enjoy the view. We were spoilt really at all the photo opportunities, a lake with a waterfall, gorgeous steps leading down, not forgetting the wellies Hazel changed into !!!

I really do hope I captured everything that it really was. You could just see from the smiles how happy this day made them both.

Here is a little preview for you guys.. Enjoy x
