Rockbeare Manor

Martin & Steffanie

I was completely honoured to be asked to photograph Martin & Steffanies wedding day. With every wedding I believe it's the greatest honour, I get into the zone a few days before and just really take each shot personally... it's my thing, the images represent me as a person not just as a business, it's what I see, how I feel and how I think. An image of the flowers isn't just a shot of flowers to me, it's about seeing something in a way no one else can see it and doing the beauty of something complete justice. I don't stop watching, literally. It also helps that I have great eyesight :) !

I have known the lovely couple for a few years now.. maybe 6/7 so it was great to join them and their family & friends whilst they said I do. They have been together for like forever ( childhood sweethearts for real ) which made this day even more special.

The whole day was being held at the very beautiful and grand Rockbeare Manor, a venue I have heard a lot about. I wasn't disappointed during the venue visit prior to the wedding day, such a gorgeous romantic building with plenty of photographic opportunities!

I was spoilt for choice with the gorgeous decor, the elegant table settings, the dresses, the flowers, the little touches that were everywhere I looked. Stef & Martin did a fabulous job of making their wedding unique and very personal.

The day was really relaxed, the guests mingled whilst the drinks flowed and we had plenty of time to capture the newlyweds in the vast grounds. They were just so at ease with each other, I rarely had to pose them as we wandered around the gardens.

It was an amazing wedding with so much thought and love that had clearly gone into it... oh my god the cake. I forgot to mention the cake. Pure perfection.

Congratulations lovebirds...
