What a wedding!

Drew & Sadies wedding definately finished off my April with a bang! Filled with lots of laughs, moments to remember and just a great bunch of people :)

My day started off in Tiverton with Sadie & her bridesmaids.. the prep was well underway when I arrived and the excitement was kicking in. You could tell she wasn't nervous... just wanting to get there. I normally see the nerves seep into the brides in the last hour before the walk down the aisle but Sadie was ultra cool !

The ceremony and reception was being held at The Beambridge, Somerset. A lovely local inn near Wellington, surrounded by the countryside. Perfect for stealing the newlyweds off for photos later. The ceremony itself was emotional, the first 2 rows were all shedding a tear ( my fav part ) when Sadie & Drew said 'I do'.

The party started right after the vows, surrounded by over a hundred of their nearest and dearest we all had a great time in the courtyard. I love the moments after the ceremony, all the hugs, hellos and laughs. You see people come together that haven't for years and this is what their wedding was like. just a good old fashioned family wedding.

The speeches were especially good, we had belly laughs and tears... everything a photographer loves and a good fun sweepstake for guessing the length of the speeches... All good stuff!

Sadie & Drew wanted a natural approach, when we met it was relaxed and I got the idea they wanted a chilled relaxed approach to their photography. We had no formal group list, it was a 'lets go with the flow' and keep it simple. And we did, we had some lovely family shots and the rest of the time I could just wander.

The highlight of the day, apart from the dance moves later on...was taking them both off into a field down a lane in the evening. We made the most of the time we had and got some lovely shots of the both of them as the day was nearing to an end.

I must also mention the flowers, the flowers were AMAZING.

I left the wedding buzzing, it was such a happy, lively wedding that could only make me smile! You could see how much Sadie & Drew meant to all their guests.
