I love love love working at new venues so I was especially excited to work at The Horn Of Plenty in Tavistock for Martin and Donnas big day... I had heard of the spectacular views and the endless photo opportunities and I was not disappointed.

I hit the road early on Saturday to arrive in good time for the hair and makeup prep...I was greeted by a misty morning and a very chilled bride :)

The hotel is set in some gorgeous grounds.. throughout the day I stole the couple away from their guests to snatch a few precious moments. The weather behaved enough for the wedding party to also enjoy the outdoor space.

I met Martin & Donna on a pre shoot for our final meeting, it most definitely helped on the day in terms of them letting go and knowing exactly how I work. I say it all the time but it is really worth it! They were pros.. and so in love.

I love how couples now change up their days and set new traditions, in our case Martin & Donna did their speeches before the meal in the main ceremony room.. it adds an extra dimension to the day and makes it all less formal. The speeches were full of laughter and tears, the grooms speech especially made my eyes water...just a little bit.

These guys are such a gorgeous couple and their relaxed nature made my job so much easier.

A beautiful day and I feel blessed to do this job.
