The Lord Haldon, Janine & Alex

The wedding of Janine & Alex arrived really quickly, it only seemed like yesterday that I met them in Tiverton to discuss their wedding photography. What came across straight away was that they are a fun couple and after getting to know them a little better over the last year I knew they would be perfect to work with on their day.

The wedding was being held at The Lord Haldon in Devon, ten minutes from my house which makes my day even easier :) I always enjoy working there as its so well run and the staff respect the photography and work around us.

We were shooting the whole day so we got cracking fairly early photographing both the bride & groom getting ready. Janines best friend Megan was also one of my brides last year so it was wonderful to see familiar faces and people I would call friends now. Thats the beauty of doing this job.

The weather couldn't of been any better than it was, we went off into the gardens to capture all the couples shots and then we 'mingled/hid/blended in' with the guests and got those all important natural shots we always talk about and hope for!

It was a really laid back wedding, no formalities so we went with the flow and I hope that shows in my images. I finished off the day with the first dance, cake cutting and a touch of sunburn...

This wedding really kicked off the summer season in the best way possible.
