Russell & Jenny

I had the best time last week, I had three weddings to photograph and each one completely different to the next. We had a small intimate wedding, an English countryside hotel wedding and an outdoor ceremony wedding..They were all perfect!

Saturday brought me to The Edgemoor on Dartmoor for the wedding of Jenny & Russell. A lovely couple with equally lovely children... Their three boys are stars and the best little models for me. We had a pre wedding shoot last year which let the boys warm up to me and get used to being in front of the camera. It certainly helped on the day and I noticed they were more relaxed than most children so if you get a pre shoot make the most of it and include your little ones!

Myself & my 2nd shooter Sarah arrived mid morning to get cracking on the bride and groom prep, the day looked like it was going to a warm one and we weren't wrong. The ceremony was being held outside and it just looked amazing. The Edgemoor is fab for outdoor weddings, you have the space but it also feels intimate when sitting outside.

The couple had lots of family and friends travel from 'up north'. Jenny is from Birkenhead..( I think I got that right!) so we were joined by important people who were all up for having a good time and making the most of their visit and big day :)

It was just such a lovely afternoon, we kept the group shots minimal and concentrated on mixing with the guests and capturing them having a drink and enjoying themselves. They also had a children's entertainer who was great and kept them all occupied ( and the adults )

The boys were absolutely awesome as was Coco... I have to also mention Jennys bridesmaids, THE most helpful bridesmaids ever, the type of girls you would want by your side.
