Adam & Lauren, Reed Hall

Where do I start?! What a fantastic day and what a fantastic couple.

I met Adam & Lauren after a recommendation from another lovely wedding I photographed and we hit it off straight away. Its hard not to with these two as they are literally the friendliest people I have met :) We had a pre-shoot on Exmouth beach last summer which got us all used to each others company and got them prepared for their wedding photography! We had a lot of fun so I was especially excited for this big day.

The morning started in Topsham at the hair salon the girls were getting prepped in, 7 women in one room and lots of seat hopping getting hair and makeup done it was a hive of activity. I like to squeeze into corners and hide out the way but there was no getting away with them noticing me and the camera clicking away.. After a while they had no choice but to get used to it! Lots of excitement and lots of laughs started the day off perfectly. Adam and his groomsmen mustn't be forgotten as they had their own photographer in Katy Jones who was happily capturing them at the couples house.

The ceremony was being held at Heavitree church where Adam was patiently waiting for his bride, it was the most personal church service I have been to and I must say the vicar was amazing and really accommodating to us photographers! The weather held off and we got some lovely shots of the happy newlyweds outside before heading off to Reed Hall for the reception.

Reed hall is fab for photography, plenty of places to use and gardens to die for. I have a field day when I get to work here as it all just looks perfect. Perfect light, perfect location and with the most smiley couple ever there were no problems in getting the right shots. Apart from telling Lauren to do a serious face... that never happened :D

We had a blast, the day went so quickly and flowed so well...thats a testament to how well Adam & Lauren planned their special day.
