Combe House Hotel, Somerset

The sun shone ALL day.

We had a fantastic day at the wedding of James & Leah, a gorgeous wedding in Somerset with a lovely touch of vintage chic. I feel like I have got to know the newlyweds quite well over the planing of their wedding, we had a fab pre wedding shoot earlier in the year to give them a chance to get used to the camera and for me to get a feel for what they want. It worked, we had a great shoot and this weekend at the wedding we got the shots we were after. In fact, I couldn't stop smiling all day. I get carried away when the photography flows, the formalities are gone and we can really grab the feel of the day and run with it.

The whole day was being held at Combe House, a beautiful venue with lovely gardens and plenty of scope for the photographs. The ceremony was indoors and then to mix it up they had the reception in the marquee. A proper English, chic/vintage style day. James looked so good in his suit and Leah gorgeous in her dress that it all just looked perfect.

Cue the music in the garden whilst the guests mingled and drank the pimms and I took the couple off around the venue for their shots... from doing the pre wedding shoot they knew what looked good and how to relax with each other and I think it shows :)

Such a well suited couple, James & Leah planned their day right down to a tee and put such a personal touch on their day. ( They have metres of bunting for sale now ) !!

We covered the whole day and if it wasn't for the long drive home we really didn't want to leave.

Thank you for having us Mr & Mrs Shore... you had the perfect wedding day with the perfect guests who welcomed us with open arms. Here is your preview xx
