I have had the most amazing August ever and the best way to finish off an amazing August is at The Corn Barn. I had the great pleasure of photographing Andrew & Lauryns big day.

I hadn't met the couple before as they live in London but that really didn't matter as soon as I arrived. I felt instantly at ease with Lauryn, her Mum & her bridesmaids during the bridal prep and the newlyweds trusted me to get on with it as only I know how.

I love it when couples give me free reign, when I just get the shots together without any of the 'say cheese' moments! I love it when couples just enjoy their own moments and entrust me to just photograph it.

The whole day was spent at The Corn Barn, the 2nd time I have shot here this month and its become a favourite of mine. From the barn, to the cake, to the most perfect dress...it all just looked perfect.

Being from Belfast, Andrew had all his nearest and dearest make the trip over to share their day with them and there were a lot of tears shed and a lot of laughs had throughout the day.

After the wonderful ceremony, I gave the newlyweds a break and they had a chance to catch up with everybody and have a well earned first drink as Husband & wife... I love this part of the wedding as all the guests are greeting them and I can capture all those first moments without being noticed too much! The music played, the prosecco was going down nicely and it was just a fab vibe to the whole day.

After the meal, the sun was setting nicely & I took Lauryn & Andrew over to the orchards to get some shots of the both of them. I hardly had to direct them at all, they were such a natural couple in front of the camera.

Its odd, I am really struggling with this blog because I don't think any words are enough to describe the day... I am going to have to let my images show you what I saw. Thank you for a fab day Mr & Mrs McKinney, your day rocked and I want to relive it all over again.
