Chris & Kita

The main summer season is over, the most busiest August and I made it! Ive loved every minute of this summer and its so lovely to move into September embracing all the new autumnal weddings to come. As much as I love the sun, I much prefer the cold days and nights, the colours, the rain and sitting in a pub with a pint!

The wedding of Chris & Kita was being held at The Dartmoor Lodge, nestled at the foot of the moors it has its very own weather forecast..and I love it. You always know when you get a wedding here its going to be a well run day, they work with their photographers as a team and it shows.

I met the lovely couple earlier in the year to go over their big day and they came across really chilled out looking for a natural photographer. I looked forward to their day as they let me have free reign and trusted me to get on with it!

I arrived to photograph the girls in the morning and my 2nd shooter Jamie helped me shoot Chris & his guys getting ready. The ceremony was again emotional, I don't know what it is at the moment but every time the bride walks in and the music starts I get going! Seeing Chris's face when he saw Kita was amazing, you could see how much he adores her :)

The weather didn't hold off for us but it really doesn't matter, the guests all met outside for drinks under the canopy and everyone was in really high spirits, I hope this shines through in my images.

After the meal I stole them away for the couples shoot, we headed off into the wooded area and got some lovely ones of them having a moment away from the wedding.

This wedding couldn't of been any better, the venue, their family & friends, the speeches.. it all was perfect. Thank you for choosing me guys!
