BarnardFolkFest!
I have been blessed with many unique weddings this year... Some gorgeous individual styles and some fab new ideas. It seems many couples are becoming more confident in creating their perfect wedding themselves and I love it! Cue The Barnard Folk Festival Wedding...!
I met Hannah & Sam earlier in the year and learnt all about their plans on how they were going to build the wedding of their dreams. I say build as there was so many lovely different aspects of their day that when put together it all worked so well and looked perfect.
We started off with the bridal prep in Sidmouth at Hannahs childhood home, the main stage for the headlining act. The house looked amazing, you will see in the images how much work went into transforming the house from a gorgeous family home to a wedding venue!
Sam & Hannah were getting married at the local church, a church with lots of space and with a vicar who loved photographers... What a church! The weather held off so we were able to get to the beach afterwards for some shots with the newlyweds. We had the beach, the tourists, the VW, the seagulls... A proper Devon wedding!
The reception was held back at the house, they had the full works... The main tent, the dance tent, Street Food from The Pickle Shack, the circus area, local ale bar, local band ...The list goes on. Everywhere we looked there was something new to take photos of. It was a real treat!
The whole community came together to make Sam & Hannahs big day so special and it really was.
Here is a small preview of your day Mr & Mrs Barnard, Your day literally rocked!!
