Such a picture perfect wedding for a lovely little family.

Nathans & Cariannes wedding day this weekend was a dream...my favourite venue, an outdoor ceremony, the sun shone all day and it was full of laughter and emotion!

The whole day was held at The Dartmoor Lodge in Ashburton, we were all on weather watch all week as storms were due midweek and they both wanted to get married outside. They have a lovely garden area at the lodge secluded from the rest of the hotel and is totally gorgeous so I couldn't blame them for wanting it! I am normally quite lucky with the weather at weddings..and Saturday was one of those lucky days.

I met up with the girls in the morning all getting prepped by Laura and Kirsty of Laura Avery MUA.. I really recommend these ladies, the hair and make up they do is outstanding... Carianne looked gorgeous.

Carianne and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle outside to Nathan & their little boy Alfie surrounded by their closest family & friends.

It was one of the best ceremonies I have seen... Alfie stole the show with being right up front with his parents... one buttonhole thrown down and one bouquet in reach he really made the ceremony :)

The afternoon was spent outside with all the guests having drinks & canapés... it was so relaxed and enabled me to just roam around and capture all those laughs and smiles.

I managed to steal the couple away after their meal to get some lovely shots in the fields, the blazing sun made for some romantic images in the grass... always worth taking time out after the meal when you are most relaxed and the main part of the day is done. It also lets you have some time together to connect again. The guests were all treated to the amazing Ollie Stephens before the evening began.

The best day, can we do it all again?
