Martyn & Hannah

My last weekend in September already... the 'official' wedding season is coming to an end and the colder wintery weddings will commence :)

Saturday I was treated to a lovely local wedding... Hannah & Martyn were getting married at The Lord Haldon a few miles outside of Exeter, a grand venue that is nestled in the hills of Haldon Forest. Actually for the first time at this wedding we could see The Haldon Belvedere castle looming over the venue. It was a lovely sight :)

I joined Hannah & her bridesmaids mid morning.. prep was underway, the fizz was being poured and the bride was VERY relaxed... it was a lovely atmosphere and just what you want when you are about to walk down the aisle. Martyn joined a bit later so I managed to nip down and get shots of him & his bestmen/bestwoman arriving.

They are both a lovely couple and I have to say their guests were all so welcoming, it was a great bunch to work with so I must say thank you.

The venue was dressed to impressed, all the little touches and styling that Martyn & Hannah included were gorgeous... the personalised cake and the handmade details all made the wedding that bit more special.

I don't think I have ever worked with a more chilled out duo... nothing was too much trouble for the newlyweds so nipping out at sunset and grabbing extra shots was done with ease. They were a total joy and you could see how much they are in love and suited.

We had emotion, lots of laughter, fabulous weather ( sit out on the lawn with a pimms type weather ) and a packed dancefloor to end the day with.

To top it all off Martyn is a city fan... absolutely perfect :)
